Based on the novel by Virginia Woolf, Orlando: A Biography, the Oscar-nominated BAFTA award-winning Orlando tells the tale of a courtier to Elizabeth I (Quentin Crisp) called Orlando (Tilda Swinton), who miraculously does not age. However, unlike the novel the film takes the audience into the 1990s where Orlando changes sex and actually has a child. Toby Stephens takes the role of Othello in the Elizabethan play scene.
