This popular action adventure BAFTA nominated television series first broadcast in 2007 and was created by Tim Haines and Adrian Hodges for ITV; the Haines and Hodges partnership also created the Walking with Dinosaurs documentary series. The plot focuses around a team of scientists, originally lead by Professor Cutter (Douglas Henshaw), who are charged with investigating anomalies, or holes in the fabric of space and time, which allow prehistoric and futuristic creatures to pass through and cause chaos in modern-day England. Regular cast members have included Andrew Lee Potts as Connor Temple, Hannah Spearmitt as Abby Maitland, Juliet Aubrey as Helen Cutter and Ben Miller as Sir James Lester. Despite its popularity and world-wide distribution, the show was cancelled in June 2009, although there is the possibility of a feature length version with Warner Bros.
