After two months of training at Bodyflight in Bedford, Daniel and Olga were ready to shoot a key scene against a blue screen. Following the death of Rene Mathis, 007 and Camille head into the desert and rent a plane in their pursuit of Greene. After take-off they are attacked by an unidentified armed fighter pilot and a helicopter. Bond desperately tries to out manoeuvre both craft but realises escape is impossible. He therefore takes the plane to the highest altitude he can. With the plane almost vertical the pair jump from the plane. Regrettably however there is only one parachute! The two free fall for a few hair raising minutes. The scene was shot seemlessly at Bodyflight with the mountainous desert backdrop being placed perfectly behind them.
