Revolution received 4 nominations – all for Razzie awards unfortunately with Al Pacino who played Tom Dobb nominated for the Worst Actor category. The film had a cast of well-known actors and celebrities including Donald Sutherland (Sergeant Major Peasy), Joan Plowright (Mrs McConnahay), Annie Lennox (Liberty Woman), Graham Greene (Ongwata) and Robbie Coltrane (New York Burgher). The story has a trapper, Tom Dobb, from New York drawn into the American Civil War after his son is drafted into the army against his will. Filming largely took place Kings Lynn in West Norfolk in the docks area. Its main ‘achievement’ was to be one of 3 box-office failures of the year and resulted in Al Pacino’s career stagnation for about four years.
