Nominated for a British Comedy Award this made for television comedy screened by the BBC series tells the tale of a former roadie, Tommy Saxondale (Steve Coogan), who now lives a suburban life in Stevenage, works in pest control and attends anger management classes. Whilst set in Stevenage, Saxondale did not film in the town! Ruth Jones played Magz, Saxondale’s girlfriend, James Bachman the therapist and Rasmas Hardiker played Raymond, Saxondale’s assistant. Saxondale was co-written by Steve Coogan and Neil Maclennan.
