Based on the novel by Dennis Wheatley of the same name, The Devil Rides Out was directed by Terrence Fisher and written by Richard Matheson. Set in England in the 1930s, the powers of good combat the forces of evil in this cult classic. The plot revolves around some followers of Satan who identify Tanith Carlisle (Nike Arrighi), the niece of the Duke of Richeleau (Christopher Lee), as their next victim for sacrifice. In the US the film was entitled The Devil’s Bride.
