Based on the novel by British author, Dorothy L. Sayers, The Nine Tailors was adapted for a television miniseries in 1973 and starred Ian Carmichael as Lord Peter Wimsey. However the adaptation undergoes a number of variations to the original pot of the novel. Stranded in the Cambridgeshire Fens by a snow storm, amateur detective Lord Peter Wimsey does his best to solve a complex murder mystery.
