The team conduct test drives and competitions at various sites in the UK and sometimes overseas, two of which are in the East of England; charity specials are also produced. Top Gear has evolved a humorous style, largely as a result of the rapport between the presenters and their guests, although the commentary has on occasions caused offence in some quarters.
