Directed by Nick Moore and written by Lucy Dahl this romantic drama stars, the rebellious American teenager Poppy Moore (Emma Roberts) who is sent by her father, Gerry (Aidan Quinn) to a strict English boarding school run by Mrs Kingsley (Natasha Richardson) where she is deeply unhappy. Poppy then goes on a journey of discovery where she learns the meaning of friendship, betrayal, love and loyalty all through her various attempts to be accepted, make friends and to be expelled! This was Natasha Richardson’s final film role.
