Whilst we shall endeavour to ensure that the site is available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period of time.

Whilst we have endeavoured to ensure that the information contained on this site is accurate, we cannot vouch that all the detail is entirely accurate and up-to-date at all times. Data sources include the following publications: Movie Locations: A Guide to Britain and Ireland; Stanley Kubrick: A Biography; The Avengers On Locations; Doctor Who On Location; The Making of Pride and Prejudice; British Film Posters: An Illustrated History; Past & Present: National Identity in the British Historical Film; The Insider's Guide to the Secret Locations of Britain's Top TV Series; East Anglia On Film; My Indecision is Final: The Rise and Fall of Goldcrest Films; The Movie Traveller: A Film Fan's Travel Guide to the UK and Ireland; The Hammer Story; English Heritage: English Cinema; Humphrey Jennings; A Knight on the Box: 50 Years of Anglia Television; The Encyclopedia of British Film; On the tracks of 007 A field guide to the James Bond filming locations around the world; The British Cinema Book, 2nd edition; Trevor Howard: A Personal Biography; A Life in Movies: An Autobiography; The Worldwide Guide to Movie Locations; British Film Studios: An Illustrated History; Elstree: The British Hollywood; The Complete A-Z of Dad's Army; About Anglia '75; I Never Knew that About England. Research was also undertaken by watching the productions and subsequently composing the synopsis and verifying scenes where locations were identifiable. During this process the researchers listened to cast and crew commentaries, where available. Finally, information was sourced or verified from: Screen East's archives; the Elstree Screen Heritage Group; from the locations themselves and people involved during the filming; from the official production websites (if available), the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV's websites as they pertained to the programmes which feature; IMDb pro (Internet Movie Database); Britmovie; LocateTV; and Wikipedia.
